The goal of the Josephine-Louise Public Library is to provide materials and services to help meet the diverse educational, professional, and recreational needs of the community. To meet this goal, emphasis is placed on providing a variety of materials and services for people of all ages with differing cultural and personal interests. The Library strives to create an appropriate environment to meet these needs.
The Library has obtained digitized content of the Citizen Herald newspaper from 1926-1936. Take a look back at what was happening in Walden and the surrounding area.

We offer our card holders free passes to the American Museum of Natural History and the Bethel Woods Museum!
We are now open late on Wednesdays to better serve our patrons!
The public is welcome to attend our trustees meeting held monthly on the 4th Monday.
