Mission Statement

The goal of the Josephine-Louise Public Library is to provide materials and services to help meet the diverse educational, professional, and recreational needs of the community. To meet this goal emphasis will be on providing a variety of materials and services for people of all ages with differing cultural and personal interest. The Library strives to create an appropriate environment to meet these needs.

Join author Eleanor Kuhns for a discussion of her novel, A Simple MurderSet in a “simple” Shaker community in 1795, the book is “Refreshingly original….” (Library Journal).                                       The author will discuss her book, research, and the Shaker Community. Copies available for purchase and signing.

Learn the difference between songs, lyrics, and poetry.
Discover the “tools” necessary to write lyrics with melodies and the different techniques used. If you wish, bring your own instrument and current project.
